www.micro-flight.com MIA RC Ultralight conversion for the GWS Slow Stick. High Definition Video. This is one heck of a conversion and a flyer and I din’t want to cut down on the video length to show all the neat flying characteristic of the converted GWS slow stick. Why another GWS Slow Stick Mod? especially after many years since its release? Well I get tired of seeing the same thing done and most of the stuff I see or come across in some kits is not as durable and many suffer from realistic performance and appeal. So I did my own ultralight conversion based highly on on scratch built MIA RC ultralight, I had designed in recent years but was not able to make a full kit of it due to time constraints and heavy work loads with the aftermarket parts we make for the tiny helicopters. Making a MIA conversion kit for the GWS Slow Sitick was easier and makes sense to me. If not, then let my videos, of the model converted, speak for themselves. I am enjoying the GWS Slow Stick in a new form so much that I have temporarily stoped flying helis for a change of pace. My passion and Inspiration making, possibly the most realistic tough and highly appealing RC ultralight models, is drawn from an honest appreciation and understanding of real ultralights, microlights, nanolights, ultraleves, and similar real light aircraft. I am using MIA TUFF (TM) items and hardware for the ultimate crash-proof model. Past experience designing all sorts of RC flying models led me to select specific

testing my scratch built rc microlight again and fitted gopro HD in the back for some onboard footage. flying abit faster than usual cus of the weight of the gopro :) changed his hands after i made this video so hes actually holding the base bar lol

First Microlight Flight

Posted by: Darren | Comments (0)

This was my first ever Microlight Flight, taken at Beeston Microlight. My pilot Alan was great. A very patient instructor who gave me a birds eye tour of the area and then guided me through using the controls and flying the aircraft…absolutely brilliant!
