I could, but I don’t. I have taken soft drinks and pot-luck dinners in there on my way to fly-in though…it’s great having that “airplane trunk”. I usually land before I open the cooler, although I could reach it if I had too.

thanks for the g8t video on the beaver dragonfly,,would the beaver make a good first plane..i have a background in gliders and have just started to see the light in ultralight ,i have about 10 hr’s so far,i would love to hear what you think….thanks

Yes, I have a BRS ballistically – deployed parachute attached to my airframe…just in case. It cose over $5,000 for the parachute. Thanks, DK

I would say yes, but it would be a simpler permit than a private pilot licence. DK

Cruise 70 mph, Range four hours (14 gallon on board), BRS Vertical Launch System 1050. Great fun ultralight!! DK

I try to fly every weekend in the late spring to the early fall, weather permitting. I would fly more often if I lived closer to the airfield. Thanks, DK
