Yeah, these older a/c are still good. This is a Pegusus 462 (G-MVTA). There was a strong cross-wind element on the day that made the landing interesting. Standard glide approach from 1000ft with a microlight circuit.

Thanks for your comment! I was doing the filming and the pilot up front is a friend who owns the microlight. It was my first time up, a bit scary at first but great fun! I hope he’ll take me up again next summer!

Having flown light aircraft at Rochester Airport for several years, I really enjoyed watching this video. Well done to the pilot (and camera man). I have only flown once in a a microlight – a Thruster – from Popham and I thoroughly enjoyed the flight.
