Microlight montage
ByA montage of microlight clips put together to form a short film, with a musical backing of an Irish jig. Those of you who own the ‘Flying the Dream’ DVD will recognise this sequence from the Chris Finnigan interview section of the video. To buy a copy of ‘Flying the Dream’ go to my video shop at www.qfedirect.co.uk and order one from there.

No, the planes went from Sywell to Weston Underwood and back. We were filming for the Flying the Dream video, produced by Rob Thomasson. Rob Grimwood (World Champion flexwing pilot) flew the red and silver iXess, and Dr Paul Welsh (consultant to Flylight, P+M, the BMAA, etc) flew the turquoise and silver Kiss. Rob Thomasson filmed on a Canon XL1 from a Skyranger flown by Paul Dewhurst (World Champion 3 axis microlight pilot), and I filmed from the back seat of the Kiss with my handheld Sony.
