The microlight club I’m in does this sort of thing every year at around September time. We drop water bombs onto our runway’s spot, fly accurately at low levels and then climb up to 1000ft and kill power to come back down for a landing that has to be perfectly straight and touch down at a specific point

That reminds me, we have our 1st place title to defend this year ^_^

i went to the international microlight championships when it was held in long marston
but never the nationals
