www.webtogs.co.uk The Rab Men’s Microlight Alpine Jacket is a superb down layer that is incredibly flexible and versatile. Whilst Gareth shows you what it looks like in the flesh, let’s get some more information from Rab about what they have to say on the Microlight Alpine. The Microlight Alpine Jacket is a lightweight, narrow baffled down jacket with a weather resistant Pertex outer fabric. Providing 140g/5oz (size large) of US750 fill European goose down, all wrapped up in a streamlined package that provides maximum warmth for minimal weight. The clean lines and uncluttered, minimalist design make it ideal as a layering piece for climbing or for mountain marathons – but this adaptable piece is equally at home for day to day use or for lightweight back-packing. The narrow baffle structure minimises down migration and provides optimum loft and a fixed hood makes this jacket the perfect choice when warmth, weight and packability are prime concerns. After listening to feedback from sponsored athletes and customers Rabhave decided to add zips to the hand warmer and chest pockets. FEATURES Pertex Microlight 30D outer shell 140g (L) of 750 fill power superior quality European goose down Mini stitch-through baffles stabilise position of down Fixed, down filled hood 2 YKK zipped hand warmer pockets and 1 YKK zipped chest pocket Front zip with internal down filled baffle Lycra bound hem and cuffs Stuffs away into the chest pocket Medium cut Toview similar outdoor gear, footwear

www.micro-flight.com MIA RC Ultralight conversion for the GWS Slow Stick. High Definition Video. This is one heck of a conversion and a flyer and I din’t want to cut down on the video length to show all the neat flying characteristic of the converted GWS slow stick. Why another GWS Slow Stick Mod? especially after many years since its release? Well I get tired of seeing the same thing done and most of the stuff I see or come across in some kits is not as durable and many suffer from realistic performance and appeal. So I did my own ultralight conversion based highly on on scratch built MIA RC ultralight, I had designed in recent years but was not able to make a full kit of it due to time constraints and heavy work loads with the aftermarket parts we make for the tiny helicopters. Making a MIA conversion kit for the GWS Slow Sitick was easier and makes sense to me. If not, then let my videos, of the model converted, speak for themselves. I am enjoying the GWS Slow Stick in a new form so much that I have temporarily stoped flying helis for a change of pace. My passion and Inspiration making, possibly the most realistic tough and highly appealing RC ultralight models, is drawn from an honest appreciation and understanding of real ultralights, microlights, nanolights, ultraleves, and similar real light aircraft. I am using MIA TUFF (TM) items and hardware for the ultimate crash-proof model. Past experience designing all sorts of RC flying models led me to select specific
