Are you aware that the “Ultralight” was actually started in Australia by a gentleman whose name currently escapes me however he was the first to strap an engine onto a wing and start flying creating the birth of ultralight aviation.

He later moved to the US and started ultralight aviation there.

Wow, I’ve never seen someone foot launch a quicksilver type weightshift, at 1:00 (terratorn?). Very cool. Will order your video as soon as possible.

I remember seeing these things all the time in the Mid 80′s when I was a young boy. Never an unmistakeable sound and always pretty rainbow colored wings.

Striker : Good Gawd All Mighty ! a flying shot of a (one and only ) “Ultranaughty) Bohimein ultra lights. I Wouldn`t let these morons fly at Our GWULR`nAirshows due to the fact that it was a Total POS (Same for the Starburst. ) Sometime we should yack about the Good `ole daze , Heck , We surrvived ! Best `o the Best to ya Mate….

my dream …

Thank you, and you are correct about the Hummer vs; Hummingbird and I knew that, (grin). However,I do correctly identify the Hummingbird(which is also in the film), and will correct the audio in the final version. This will probably end up as a work in progress as more of you all come out of the woodwork to add to it. Thanks again and keep flying. Chuck

Great stuff, brings back memories. One “for what it’s worth,” I heard you refer to the “Maxair Hummingbird and Drifter.” The Hummingbird was made by Gemini, and it did have a V tail like the Hummer but it had two engines, mounted on the wing leading edges. Having owned a Hummer for 13 years, it was inevitable that I noticed. (Grin) Looking forward to watching your video at one of our club meetings this summer.

Thanks for asking nyweb2001. “Ultralight Flyers” will be ready about mid April in tine for Sun N Fun. It will be about an hour and a half long and full of flying. E-mail me and I’ll put you on the list. Chuck
