An outboard my be better suited for some applications, however there are many areas in lakes or rivers where gasoline engines are not permitted. With a Torqeedo you never have to worry about those restrictions. Not to mention, not having to deal with hazardous gasoline or the pollution of a 2-stroke

2 hp 2 cycle Outboard gas engine ,,, would work a lot better ,,, and it is very light …
