Good job, easy effective Poncho set up.
The only thing i have to say is, make it tighter becuase when it does rain, it makes pockets in the poncho with water, and make the poncho less stable, so just make it tighter and then the water will just run off…..

cool thanks. I will look into it. Was also looking at snugpacks one but not sure if it’s any good

as a poncho its great all I miss is it doesn’t have a flip out brim. and it would be wise to treat the neck seams just incase other than that its great quality rugged against abrasion.

Excellent setup. Let’s see your video after you’ve spent a few nights in this setup–then you can talk about how it actually works. Good stuff, man.

Nice little shelter. I have a pretty tiny tent an uncle gave me when I got into backpacking. Its pretty light, but big enough for me to be comfortable in it. When the weather clears up I will bring it out and set it up and do a vid.
