Thanks for the videos. It’s been most a year since you posted it. Did you ever get the g4?
How about a gear update video?
Thanks again

Great vid. Thanks! I just picked up a SteriPen. It’s maybe not ultralight, but at 3.7 oz it’s not bad. I’d love to be able to get down to 11 pounds but I’ve got a long way to go.

@takepills I think you’ll be taking a lot of pain pills. But it’s possible. You should read that book about the Barefoot Sisters.

what do u think about hiking barefoot?

why does everyone light there bic after showing it?

@freewill51, the original Swiss Army knives were only issued to the officers.

Good video. One question for everyone.. Why do swiss army knives always have a cork screw/wine bottle opener???

i typically use the potable aqua iodine tablets. They are the lightest option, but the taste takes some getting use to.

what do u use for water treatment?

I don’t use any netting, however that may change. I bring bug spray with me sometimes, but honestly I’ve gotten used to having bugs crawling everywhere at night. If gnats and mosquitoes are a problem then I will try and camp in a windy place. Bugs are just part of the whole tarp camping experience.

You mentioned you were in Georgia. How do you handle the bugs in the summer when youre sleeping? Do you use netting with your tarp or do rely solely on bug sprays?
