IMHO bag is not needed, big mug is so big.. maybe you can fit the smaller cup inside somehow or find one that fits? BIC Lighter – ok, but leaf of ordinary matches in string bag in survival kit will be enough for doubling the steel you use anyway. Why do you keep spices in bottles, not in string bags (even if big – you can roll it)? You might also pack one of this fancy cones instead of windscreen. Sponge – this was the thing I like most. And Tinny’s stove – he makes great things!

Wow I was considering the REI Kettle May pick one up this weekend, Thanks for showing us!

I don’t mean to correct but the HEET in the YELLOW bottle is an antifreeze for Gasoline Great videos man i love you’re set up keep em Coming :) lol

i did not make the pancake movie yet. I have not had any time with work and school to really get out backpacking this year. I can do the video from home but that just isn’t as fun. I have been experimenting with different options for several things and will post those videos soon. thanx for the comment

did you ever make that pancake movie?… because I can’t find it

Nice set up there, I use Tinny’s stoves as well. Good idea on cooking the pancakes in that small pot. I should try it with my MSR Titan it is about the same size.

Take care,

There was nothing wrong with the BIOS2 after Tinny was told by an engineer commenting on his blog how to remedy his defective design. The fuel overflow problem of some of his BIOS2s was created in concert with jet hole height variation. Internal unvented pressure was forcing fuel up the narrow walls of his burner. In stoves where this height was low enough, fuel was able to overflow and create a fire hazard. Drilling holes in the internal chamber fixed this problem.

I havent seen that mug before. Nice!

Nice little setup. Good work.
